RSM Motor Centre has been proudly serving motorists in Cape Town, since 1999. Originally established as Mike’s Motor Shop by founders Tony Struwig and Mike Lotter, the business has grown from strength to strength, built on honesty, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to customer care. In 2006, following Tony’s sole ownership, the workshop was renamed RSM Motor Centre to reflect our core focus – Repair, Service and Maintenance of vehicles and trucks up to 10 tons. Now operating from our expanded premises at 14b Duminy Street, we continue to uphold our “open door” policy, keeping clients fully informed of all work and costs every step of the way. Under the ownership of Marius Janse van Rensburg since 2011, our dedicated team remains driven by the same values that built our reputation: exceptional workmanship, affordable service, and complete peace of mind knowing your vehicle is in expert hands.

Marius Janse van Rensburg
Owner
Marius has been at the helm of RSM Motor Centre since 2011, bringing with him a lifelong passion for motorsport and engineering excellence. In 2024, he expanded his vision by acquiring Rowland Manifolds and Motordrive, further strengthening his commitment to innovation and high-performance automotive solutions.
A dedicated Grade ‘A’ official with Do4SA (Dirt Oval 4 SA), an organization founded by Chris Liebenberg, Marius officiates at both national and international racing events—a passion he proudly shares with his three sons. His love for motorsport fuels his drive to help others unlock the full potential of their vehicles, whether through precision repairs, performance upgrades, or custom manifolds.
Looking ahead, Marius is spearheading the growth of RSM Motor Centre, Rowland Manifolds and Motordrive. Under his leadership, the company continues to uphold its reputation for quality craftsmanship, exceptional service, and innovation aligned with international trends.
In addition to business growth, Marius is committed to giving back. RSM Motor Centre supports local causes and actively contribute to social responsibility projects, particularly those raising awareness and support for Autism and Cancer.
Rudolph Bester
Master Mechanic
Rudolph has been a valued member of the RSM Motor Centre team since 2014, bringing with him decades of hands-on experience as a specialist mechanic. Before joining RSM, he honed his skills at Mitsubishi Paarden Eiland, where he became known for his expertise in fitting body kits on Tritons and Lancers. Over the years, Rudolph has worked extensively on a wide range of vehicles, including blister fenders, Q Cars, CK and BK Pajeros, Colts, Tritons, and Outlanders.
As a true master mechanic across all vehicle brands, Rudolph takes pride not only in his technical expertise but also in his ability to diagnose problems quickly and provide reliable, lasting solutions. He has a passion for helping clients keep their vehicles in top condition and is known for his approachable, customer-focused attitude. His combination of precision workmanship and genuine care for his clients makes him an indispensable part of the RSM team.
